  • Recording guitar, vocals and DI sources cleanly at home
  • Mixing fundamentals: gain staging, EQ, compression, reverb and space
  • Reference-listening and getting a track release-ready

Taught by a working producer

I'm Ben Crosbie — producer and composer as Crosbit, with a BA in Commercial Modern Music from BIMM Dublin and 4M+ collective streams across collaborations. Lessons follow the way records actually get made.

Music production lessons in Dublin: FAQs

Do I need my own studio gear?
No. A laptop and headphones are enough to start. We can build up to an interface, mic and monitors once you know what you actually need.
Which software do you teach?
Mainly FL Studio, and the concepts transfer to any DAW. Gain staging, arrangement, EQ, compression and mix balance work the same everywhere.
Are production lessons in person or online?
Both. In person around South Dublin, or online with screen sharing — which works particularly well for production because you can see the session as I work.
Can I learn production if I don't play an instrument?
Yes. Plenty of producers start from samples and MIDI. If you want to add guitar later, I teach that too.
Do you also offer production and recording services?
Yes — beats, production and recording are available as services alongside lessons. Message me with what your track needs.
