Online guitar lessons
The same one-to-one tuition I teach in Dublin, over video call. Beginner to intermediate, planned around the songs you want to play and the time you actually have to practise.
How online lessons run
- Camera angled at your hands so technique gets corrected properly
- Chord charts, tabs and short demo clips sent straight after each lesson
- Practice targets you can measure between sessions
- Flexible rescheduling — no travel means easier slots
Who they suit
Anyone outside South Dublin, anyone with an unpredictable schedule, and anyone who simply prefers learning at home. If you're based in the city, see guitar lessons in Dublin instead.

Online guitar lessons: FAQs
- Do online guitar lessons actually work?
- Yes. One to one over video is close to identical to being in the room: I can see your hands, hear your timing, and send tabs, chord charts and recordings straight into the chat.
- What do I need for an online lesson?
- A guitar, a phone or laptop with a camera, and a stable internet connection. Headphones help. An interface or mic is nice to have but not required.
- Which app do you use?
- Whatever suits you — most students use WhatsApp video or Zoom. Message me and we'll set it up before the first lesson.
- Can I mix online and in-person lessons?
- Yes. Dublin students often book in person most weeks and switch to online when travel or work gets in the way.
- Do you teach outside Ireland?
- Yes, online lessons are open to anyone — we just find a time that works across time zones.
